2005:China in the World Economy

“China Development Forum 2005” was successfully held at Beijing on March 20-21. The theme was “China in the World Economy”, which received widely well- thought-of by domestic and foreign delegates. During the forum, delegates carried out in-depth discussions and research upon five issues: China’s Macro-Economic Trend and The World Economy, Structural Upgrading and Technological Innovation in China’s Manufacturing Sector, China’s Public Finance Reform in the Opening-up, China in the World Trade System, Opening-up of China’s Financial Market and the New Trends in the International Financial System. Most of them reckoned that, China has always remained clearly aware of what challenges she is facing currently, and is endeavoring to adopt scientific and rational development strategies; and further expressed they believe that the Chinese government is able to solve all those problems in the future.
